Total Golf Adventures Honored By U.S. Kids Golf Five members of the TGA network earn high praise
by one of the premier junior golf companies
El Segundo, CA - Total Golf Adventures (TGA), one of
the leading
initiatives to grow the game of golf and the largest national after-school
junior golf program in the country, has earned high praise from U.S. Kids
Golf, one of the leading manufacturers of junior golf equipment.
U.S. Kids Golf has awarded PGA Member Chris Knobloch-TGA
of North
Atlanta, among the U.S. Kids Top 50 Teachers in the country. In addition,
U.S. Kids Golf recognized PGA Professional and TGA of Charlotte owner
Champ Detamore, TGA of North Bay Director, Sherman Leland, as well as
TGA Founder, Joshua Jacobs, and TGA National Program Director, Steve
Tanner, among a group of teachers earning honorable mention honors on
the list.
U.S. Kids Golf announced the top teachers on its
website this month and
stated:
"These elite professionals have dedicated their
careers to developing youth
golf in their communities and are known for their overall excellence and
commitment to serving youth. They have demonstrated the ability to
organize, administer, and teach at a very high level and are recognized by
their peers and students as role models for the youth in their programs.
This very experienced group of men and women have made a commitment
to helping kids not only learn the game of golf, but also develop a love
for
the game that lasts far beyond their days in junior golf."
This marks the second year in a row that Chris
Knobloch, has earned the well-deserved Top 50 status by U.S. Kids Golf.
Chris, who oversees the TGA franchise in Atlanta, Georgia, has developed
one of the leading TGA programs in the country, which includes introducing
the game of golf to over 2,400 kids the past four years. In addition, he
also works with elite high school players and college players from the
area.
