Sonocaddie Introduces V500 GPS
Pre-loaded touchscreen model combines best of all golf GPS features
Salem, New Hampshire - Club Champ Golf, master US Distributor of
Sonocaddie, the easiest and most advanced personal golf GPS available,
announces the introduction of Model V500 Golf GPS.
"Sonocaddie has introduced many innovations in Golf GPS, and now
combines the best features available into the most powerful and
user-friendly GPS in the golf industry" said Sue Grover, Club Champ's
V.P. of Sales and Marketing. "The intuitive touch screen model is
pre-loaded with almost every US course so there are no annual fees and
no downloading needed."
The V500 comes preloaded with full layouts of over 16,000 US Courses
and the sunlight viewable touch screen is the largest Sonocaddie has
ever offered. V500 continues with the unique 'walking golfer' icon that
moves around the fairway indicating the user's position in real time. All
shot information is tracked during the round so the golfer can review the
round shot-by-shot at a later date.
V500 also offers high resolution Satellite photos and video fly-overs of
every course, available as an upgrade. These Satellite Packages range from
$.50 to $2.00 per course depending on the package chosen. Included with the
unit is a rechargeable battery that will last up to three rounds or about
15 hours.
With the "Touch Point" feature, the golfer simply touches any point on the
hole layout or the satellite photo, and immediately sees the yardage from
their location to that point, and the yardage remaining from that point to
the green, great for playing an unfamiliar hole or plotting a lay-up area.
And the video flyover will prove very useful on long or unfamiliar holes.
Grover adds "The V500 has it all...the large sunlight viewable touch
screen, pre loaded full course layouts, no annual fees, shot tracking,
scorecard, analysis, satellite view, hole flyover, and most of all the
accuracy and reliability of a Sonocaddie!"
