At Prestwick, Pete and P.B. Dye have crafted a links-style masterpiece reminiscent of Dye designs.
Over 1.3 million cubic yards of earth were moved in sculpting towering dune-like berms, stairway bunkers and bulkhead–protected greens. The layout meanders through dense pine forest, sandy waste areas and ever-flowing streams and lakes that frame out the generous landing areas. Though considered a great challenge to the lower handicapper, Prestwick offers playability to all through its six sets of tees.
