introduces the MP-58 irons with Dual Muscle Titanium Technology, the
first multi-material forged iron the company has ever produced in the
United States. During the complex Grain Flow Forging process, a
high-tech pure Titanium metal is forged into the outer muscle of the
iron, which not only delivers the feel, workability and ball control
every MP iron player desires, but also takes playability in an MP iron
to a whole new technological level.
The lightweight characteristics of the pure Titanium utilized in the
MP-58s allow for an ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area to
ensure the legendary soft, solid and consistent feel one expects from a
Mizuno iron, while simultaneously providing a dramatic increase in
perimeter weighting for enhanced playability. The MP-58 irons achieve
the rare combination of a penetrating ball flight, increased MOI, and
superior feel, all in the ultimate player's head shape and size. This
perfect combination of playing characteristics is only attainable
through the utilization of Mizuno's patented Dual Muscle Titanium
Technology.

Other features of the new MP-58 include a rolled leading edge,
flattened mid-sole, and rolled trailing edge to deliver consistent
striking ability from all types of lies, and a durable double nickel
chrome plated finish with a Black Chrome stainless steel muscle
medallion provide elegant aesthetics. Modified U-grooves, designed to
conform to the 2010 Condition of Competition rule, produce the ideal
spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions.
The MP-58™ will be offered in right handed models with True Temper
Dynamic Gold S300 and R300 steel shafts for a suggested retail price of
$1,200. The exclusive MIZUNO/Golf Pride® M-21 58 Round grips will come
