HONMA Golf introduces the MG603, varying flow structure designed iron
from HONMA
HONMA Golf Co. Ltd. JAPAN-has released the 3rd
generation BERES 6-Series, a new BERES senior men's iron model, the
MG603. Each iron has a specific structure flow design, double-layer
plating and a satin finish. Irons #4-7 consist of a two-piece structure
of SUS630 body, high-strength custom steel variable-thickness-face.
Extraneous weight in the cavity is shifted to widen the sole, which
contains two, four gram tungsten weights. Combined with a thinner top
line, these adaptations bring down the center of gravity and increases
carry distance. The #8-SW has a slightly thicker construction, thus
bringing the center of gravity slightly higher than the rest of the set.
By doing this, spin is increased (by about 12%), and also improves shot
control.
The standard production MG603 is 2-Star grade (MSRP $345/club) up to the
ultra-prestigious 5-Star grade (MSRP $4,395.00/club) featuring Pt1000
Platinum, 24k gold embellishment and ion plated shaft for those who like
the finer things in life. The MG603 features the HONMA New ARMRQ UD45
graphite shaft for senior men or stronger lady players. The standard set
makeup of the MG603 is an 8-piece set (No.5-10, 11, SW). A #4 iron is
available by special order. Sets can be broken into a partial set as per
the customer's preference, depending on stock availability.
