HERITAGE GOLF GROUP NAMES KEN MCNERNEY GENERAL MANAGER AT SHIPYARD GOLF CLUB

SAN DIEGO, CA. - Heritage Golf Group recently named Ken McNerney as General Manager of Shipyard Golf Club. Shipyard Golf Club, part of The Heritage Collection on Hilton Head Island, features 27-holes of spectacular golf, and is nestled within Hilton Head's natural setting of majestic Carolina pine trees, flowering magnolias and moss draped oaks.

The former home of the Hilton Head Seniors International from 1982 to 1984, Shipyard Golf Club was rated as one of the finest layouts on the Champions Tour. The Club is located at the south end of the Island, in Shipyard Plantation, adjacent to The Crowne Plaza Resort. Resident golfers and visitors are welcome year round.

McNerney came to Shipyard Golf Club after having previously worked as Head Golf Professional of Port Royal Golf and Racquet Club and Oyster Reef Golf Club, as well as Assistant Golf Professional for Port Royal Golf and Racquet Club in Hilton Head Island, SC. McNerney has an MBA in Finance from Nova University, and is a graduate of New Mexico State University's Professional Golf Management Program. McNerney currently holds a Class A PGA Membership Certificate.
