AHEAD Introduces New Performance And Eco-Friendly Polos For Summer '09



NEW BEDFORD, Mass., March 23, 2009 - AHEAD introduces six new

additions to its popular Quick Dry Performance and Eco-Friendly men's

polo collections.

"Based on the success of our performance and eco-friendly styles

introduced last year, our customers were looking for us to expand our

offerings," said Jeff Waller, national sales director. "We have received

very positive response on the new styles; it looks like we have more

winners on-hand."

Quick Dry Performance polos are available in three new styles which

include moisture wicking and quick dry performance benefits plus an

odor management treatment to keep golfers dry, cool and fresh:

• The Quick Dry Performance Pique Stripe polo (#PP67) is available in

royal, eggplant, ruby and mineral with a white accent stripe. Suggested

retail is $65.

• The Quick Dry Performance Drop Needle polo (#PP72) is available in

royal, eggplant, white and onyx with a tonal stripe with contrasting

placket. Suggested retail is $65.

• The Quick Dry Performance Long Sleeve Textured polo (#PP75) is available in royal, eggplant, white and onyx. Suggested retail is $70.

AHEAD's Retief Goosen wears the eco-friendly collection of polos on tour. Eco-Friendly polos include the benefits of moisture wicking and quick dry performance plus eco-friendly fabric.

A Bamboo Charcoal Textured Stripe polo (#OG05) will be offered featuring 53 percent performance polyester and 47 percent bamboo charcoal. The polo is available in cobalt, nectar and poppy for a suggested retail of $60.

The Coconut Charcoal Open Stripe polo (#OG07) is made of 72 percent performance polyester and 28 percent coconut charcoal. Available in cobalt and grey, lime and grey, and poppy and grey for a suggested retail of $60.

Made of 72 percent performance and 28 percent coconut charcoal, the new Coconut Charcoal Vertical Drop Needle polo (#OG08) has a anti-microbial moisture and odor management system. The polo comes in cobalt, white and onyx for a suggested retail of $60.

The new Quick Dry Performance and Eco-Friendly polos will be available June 15, 2009. The polos can be customized using AHEAD's wide array of popular ornamentation.
