
AHEAD Introduces New
Outerwear For Spring 2010
New Bedford, Mass., October 20, 2009 — AHEAD’s popular outerwear outfits
golfers from the casual to the tour professional with style, comfort and
performance on and off the links. For 2010, AHEAD has added new outerwear
pieces in its men’s Authentics and Kate Lord lines.
Men’s Outerwear
AHEAD has always been known for quality outerwear that provides warmth,
durability and a touch of sophistication. In 2010, AHEAD will offer three
new
outerwear pieces that are a must for any golfer’s wardrobe.
Pima Dri-Balance Flat Back Rib ½ Zip (FL14): The Pima Dri-Balance Flat
Back
Rib is made of 60 percent prima cotton French flat back rib and 40
percent
polyester. The soft, comfortable outerwear garment features
moisture wicking benefits. This is an ideal piece for damp, cool days on the
links.
It also features 1 x 1 rib knit cuff and waistband and the half zip
placket
has a leather branded zipper pull. It comes in five colors—onyx,
greystone,
pine, burgundy and dark navy. Suggested retail is $81 and will

Pima Dri-Balance ½ Zip Vest (FL12): Made of 70 percent cotton and 30
percent polyester with a flat back rib. The vest features moisture wicking
benefits, has side pockets, knit rib armholes and waistband along with a
½
zip placket and leather branded zipper pull. The vest comes in three
colors
— navy, greystone and onyx. Available Dec. 1, 2009, the suggested
retail is
$73. Sizes S-XXL.
Thermal Wind Block Dri-Balance ½ Zip (DT15) is made of 61 percent
cotton
and 39 percent polyester. This soft, comfortable double-faced
outerwear
garment is wind resistant and has moisture wicking benefits.
This is a
great piece for cool windy days on the course. It also features
a Johnny
collar and ½ zip with the signature puller. It comes in four colors—onyx, greystone, burgundy and mineral. Suggested retail is $68 and will be
available Dec. 1, 2009. Sizes S-XXL.
Kate Lord Outerwear
Kate Lord will offer two new outerwear pieces for Spring 2010.
Nanotex Color Block Full Zip Windshirt: Made of 100 percent polyester with
Nanotex® finish, this lightweight, highly wind and water resistant jacket
is perfect for keeping in your golf bag for inclement weather. It features
raglan sleeves for freedom of movement during the swing, self fabric stand
up collar and an on-seam concealed zippered pockets. Available in three
color combinations — orchid/azalea/white, steel/graphite/white and
scarlet/black/white. Suggested retail on this windshirt is $60 and will be
available Dec. 1, 2009. Sizes S-XL.
Half Zip Pique Face Fleece Short Sleeve Hoodie: A 100 percent cotton
yard-dyed pique face fleece with exposed zip front placket and locking
zipper pull. The front features kangaroo pockets with flat lock stitch
detail. Suggested retail is $60 and will be available Dec. 1, 2009. Sizes
S-XL.
