Ontic Golf Announces the Release of its M-Pulse Tri-Gold
3-Weight System Adjustable Mallet Putter
June 22, 2009. Ontic Golf
announces the latest innovations in its line of putters: the M-PULSE
TRI-GOLD adjustable mallet putter. The design features a down-the-line
weighting and alignment bar, which puts more than half the head weight
directly behind the ball, creating phenomenal roll rates, COG and MOI
numbers.
Bernie Pinder states "I am pleased to
announce this latest advancement in golf technology. Our M-Pulse Tri-Gold
adds to the great family of cutting edge adjustable putters."
The M-Pulse TRI-GOLD adjustable mallet putter advances the
previous design of our M-Pulse model. The M-Pulse TRI-GOLD has an adjustable
weighting system that gives the golfer three weight options starting at 350
grams and adjustable to 370 or 390 grams by placing the 20 or 40 gram
weights directly into the back weight alignment bar.
The M-PULSE is a mallet-style putter that is CNC-machined
from 6000 series aircraft-grade aluminum with 2.5 degrees of loft. "The
M-PULSE offers the most advanced and unequaled design technology ever in a
putter", says Pinder.
All M-PULSE putters utilize Ontic Golf's patented
ADJUSTABLE LIE ANGLE and DST Technology. The lie angles are adjustable from
80 degrees upright to 58 degrees flat. The adjustable angles conformed to
USGA standards. No matter what the player's desired lie angle or shaft
length, the M-PULSE is always face-balanced and is produced in both RH or
LH, as well as standard, belly, or long models.
The innovative and patented design system allows each
golfer to custom fit their putter's lie angle to fit to their own set-up and
stroke. Having the correct lie angle is critical to ensure consistent and
absolute precise set-up; a combination that leads to consistent putting.
Most off-the-shelf putters will have a standard lie angle
of 70-72 degrees. That is the reason most golfers have the toe pointing up
when putting. Ninety percent of the golfers we custom fit will have a lie
angle between 66-69 degrees; much flatter than all off-the-shelf putters."
ADJUSTABLE LIE ANGLES AND DYNAMIC SOLE TECHNOLOGY:
A consistent custom lie angle is made possible with the
patented "Dynamic Sole Technology" (DST); the DST is the absolute perfect
sole platform design that allows the heel and toe of the putter to always be
set up flat to the putting surface.
POSITIVE LIE ANGLE LOCKING SYSTEM:
After the golfer has custom-fit their personal lie angle,
the Ontic "POSITIVE LIE ANGLE LOCKING SYSTEM" locks in the angle to conform
to USGA requirements for adjustable putters.
Golf pros and the club fitters know the importance of a
pure lie angle for making more putts. "I love the Ontic putter. It is the
most solid putter I have tried! Buying a putter or any club 'off the rack'
is absurd. Your equipment should be customized", says Leigh Taylor, PGA
Master Professional & Life Member, Philadelphia , PA.
Ontic Golf, a company that's been raising some eyebrows
for its innovative designs in the golf business. Our goal and mission is to

All of our putters conform to USGA standards," states Pinder. Stay tuned to
see what innovations Pinder and Ontic Golf come up with next! Ontic Golf's
intent is easy to define. We want to lower your score.
